Show Your Work, What I Learned
My first week taught me a few things.
I need to focus each post on one thing. Blogging on multiple subjects in the same post dilutes the focus and strength of the post. This week I will break any post with multiple subjects into multiple posts.
This project helps me to organize my work.
Behind the scenes I researched the proper way to affix copyright notices to my pictures and artwork, so expect a post about this. Also I bought an App to mark my photos and art with copyright notices.
So the Show Your Work! blog articles will not include everything I did during the week. I will pick subjects that I think will be helpful to anyone wanting to understand my art as well as help fellow artists.

I used Paper by Fifty Three to create the anti muse graphic and some sketches and artwork. This connected me to my first memory of making art due to the finger painting nature of the Paper App.
I worked with WPEngine to speed up this site and fix an issue when going to http://eyauuk.com which went to the wrong site.
I Am On Pinterest Now
A few days after I created my Pinterest account I ran into a problem, after spending some time saving pins I could not find any of the pins I pinned.
Bummer.
It turns out I already had an account I opened years ago. I never did anything on it. After I figure out how to transfer all the pins from the old account to my new account I will delete the old account.
Some of the boards I created give you an idea of my artistic interests such as the blue and black color combination.

As I blogged about my muse I also discovered anti muses holding me back from doing my work.
I see this will be a subject for future posts.
It does make sense, right? If you have a muse that inspires you, you probably have a horde of anti muses holding you back.
